Martin and Daniel chose to photograph June Street as it was one of the last streets to provide location exteriors for the nation's number one soap opera of the time, Coronation Street. This early work was produced while both Martin and Parr and Daniel Meadows were studying photography at Manchester Polytechnic. This copy is signed by Martin and Daniel on the cover.
