The great Paper magazine. This being the 1988 New Year's Special. December/January. The great PAPER magazine. This being the September 1986 issue with Ty Jeffries gracing the cover. Started by Kim Hastreiter & David Hershkovits in 1984. So New York it hurts. A true amazine. every issue seems to be art directed perfectly and in a different way everytime - wether it folding out to a huge poster, bi folding pages... it was always different and so much better to other publications at the time. Amazine reference for 80's New York, showing everything from clubs to restaurants of the city. Heavily illustrated throughout by line drawings by Gerard Nicolas from Paris & New York's Spring 89 collections.
