How did we never? The book is older than most of everyone that works at IDEA. And for all these years we did not know that it even existed.

As you can surely tell by now, it is not an academic work. But it is a text book! These left hand / right hand Rapper Language / Boring English pages are insanely inspired. Completely honey-nut loops and only eclipsed in baffling basicness by the page below. 
 

Which rapper embarrassed himself by using the wrong words? Remember this is a 1984 book for kids - however tempting it may be to think of a 2022 / 2023 answer to that one.

 

The book is better on the technical elements of hip hop education. 



And it is bang on the money when it comes to fashion and accessories.
