Turn it up loud!
The Picture Newspaper
published in New York in 1975 by Steve Lawrence and Miguel Sanchez. Those two names score zero on Google and yet they did wonders. These 70s
Picture Newspapers
are everything!
Oh this is too good. The Picture Newspaper was a broadsheet newsprint magazine of nothing but images. Glorious images. In this case a Petunia marker planted in this man's shorts. If you are a patient gardener, a pink cascade is promised!

This is the first of the three 1975/76 issues. Cheeky Jerry Hall cover by Antonio Lopez. See the super issue here but beware more male nudes!
It's impossible to cool down when you are this hot! Pat Cleveland semi submerged and photographed and collaged by Antonio Lopez. Fantastic. The whole is issue is amazing. See the great summer slideshow
here!
Think twice before planting anything here! It would not get a lot of sunlight! This brazen image sums up the issue. No towels, no trunks, no razors! It is summer seventies style. No need to get a room. Just find some shade or a corner of a club and get it on!
And the third issue with Richard Bernstein's Guggenheim with its top off cover. Beyond brilliant - see it here . Just one male nude - but a great one!!
