Las Chicas de Ibiza

The last copy of this we had was under glass at the ICA for the Ibiza: Moments in Love exhibition. That was 2013. We have looked for a copy every day since. And only last week did we find one. Rare - like - where?
Seventies Ibiza. There were nightclubs - Amnesia, Pacha, Glory's - playing disco not techno (obviously), and there were bars and beaches and yachts and Germans and hippies and nudists and Anneke (above) from Bremen. It is from this era that this special issue magazine belongs. See the opening double page here.
For the sake of full disclosure there are maximum ten clothed pages in the whole thing. The rest of it is fully nude. And for those reading this who are not looking at the book that is laid out in the sun, it is David Hamilton's Private Collection . Of course it is!
Let's also be clear that it isn't just the fully dressed Ibiza Town pages that make this a superbook. The chicas and the fotografos are a cut above. Toni Riera, Jacques Bourboulon and J.P Bourgeois all contribute photoshoots.
Of anywhere in space and time; Ibiza 1977 will do. Great boots reference too.
